Organizing Committees

The Local Organizing Committee are our boots on the ground in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. The committee consists of 2 members with contacts in the region to aid in facilitating the logistical aspects of OceanObs’19. The conference will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center.

The Program Committee (PC) consists of 19 members from a diverse academic and geographic background. The PC will coordinate the community white paper input for conference, build the program, and provide communications and outreach guidance.

The Sponsors Committee (SC) is made up of representatives from major contributing organizations The role of the SC is to coordinate the financial and intellectual engagement for the conference and organize outcomes following OceanObs’19.
